Hotel Yaja Hwajeong Station

The location is great as is it only a 3-min walk to the bus stops, the park, restaurants/cafes/stores, and the Hwajeong Station. Hwajeong Station also takes you straight to Seoul and other neighboring cities conveniently through the reliable train station.

The entrance of the hotel is hard to find despite using navigational apps. Both entrances from the front of the street and the pedestrian-only side in the back were quite inconspicuous. It took me 5 mins to figure it out. The plumbing system also needs cleaning. The drain in the bathroom always has a smell.

The staff was very friendly, the bathroom and bed were very clean. Overall a positive experience.

The floors might need a better cleaning, and maybe the walls can use some fresh paint. And unfortunately there was a weird smell coming from the AC which you definitly need in when its very warm outside.

Location was good for Gimpo airport

A little dated. We were kindly upgraded to a better room, however, there was a reed diffuser in there. The smell was pleasant but not agreeable as my partner has allergies. No window
