Alden Hotel

Was the worst experience. Room was super dirty, floors were never mopped or swept, sheets where stained, sink was disgusting with toothpaste stains, customer service was horrible. Went back to front desk as soon as I seen how dirty the room was and the guy was not there he was outside talking to a friend. Just the worst hotel.

I like the service and the fact it was extremely priceable and what I didn’t like was there was no microwave and only 5 channels on the television

Staff did let me stay at the place.

Not what I expected. Never been at a hotel in the 21st century where they don't accept a card for payment. Guy in the lobby was rude, could barely hear a word he was saying through the 6 inches of plexiglass. Room was underwhelming and sheets clearly were not cleaned before our check in. Safe to say we got what we paid for!

It is a cash only location they treat people as if they are expecting prostitution it has many signs about how illegal prostitution is

the checking was terrible, two guys not drees accordingly, pans at the middle of the but, not clean looking as the restaurant. the room was smelling like a heavy smoker and they did nothing about the request to a different room. had to pay in cash no service at all.

Won’t stay there again

I have never been so badly treated in a hotel like I was in this hotel. At arrival at about 10pm, the receptionist said they do not take cards but cash. Fortunately, I had money to pay for one night instead of two. I promised to pay before midday, the following day. Around 10:30 am the next day, 3 men banged the door several times asking me to leave. Despite the violence, I told that I had a zoom meeting and will be done in 2 hours. Horror movie indeed. Less than 2 hours, they came back and the noise was unbearable, I was scared for my own life. I then left my belongings in the room and went to the lobby. Luckily, my sister had brought some money for me to pay for the second night. I then told one of the people that pressured me to get out of the room that I will let Hotels.com know everything that transpired. That is when he said he doesn’t care, he will not take the money and that I should leave the hotel right away. I left the money on the counter and I went out. When I came back after 2 hours, he asked me if I still wanted the room. I said I still have the key, so technically it’s my room. He then activated the key. When I got into the room, it was clean up and there was no power, I mentioned it to him but nothing was done. I took a cold shower and left. I came back late in the night, still no power until I mentioned it again. I checked out the following day but they didn’t give me a receipt. After insisting for a while, they promised to email it but until now, nothing.
