Parker Beach Lodge

Hotels.com says all fees and taxes, yet they charged me for parking. Total ripoff. Been staying at this property (different owners) for 40 years. Never charged parking before. Just a way to trick people into thinking it’s one price and then rip them off.

De kamers zijn zeer gehorig. En als je beneden zit kun je niet lekker buiten zitten want dan zit je in het looppad van de schoonmakers. En die lopen er de hele dag.

A simple but lovely place to stay!

First impression, huh, bad choice - construction area at the left and the overall outside appearance was a bit, well, unsettling. This initial feeling gave way to more comforting ones pretty quick. The construction site, though not a pretty view, was actually only a temporary place for storage purposes and the room was bright, clean and seem well maintained, with a little kitchenette. And the location, with a few steps to the ocean was perfect. And even the outside condition became somewhat charming after the realization that Cape Cod isn't Miami Beach and so there is no need to compare it this way - it stands it's own character that soon developed to our liking. And the folks at the hotel brought there very own note with their distinct humor. What you may also like the the restaurant just around the corner and the little breakfast boutique a little farther west down the street - it's certainly recommendable.
