La Residence du Lac

Perfect location on the lakefront with stunning views. Apartment was modern, clean, warm - we couldn't fault it. Close to travel into Queenstown but far enough away from the busy traffic. Only a 10 minute drive to the airport and the Frankton shopping area. We loved seeing the planes flying over. Lovely lakeside walkway just down a few steps in front of the apartment building.

Spectacular location. We had a daily spa overlooking the remarkable scenery.

Accessibility is a little tricky - a few flights of stairs to lug all our baggage up and down. It’s also a short drive from the centre of town but that didn’t bother us. Just hire a car or do the stunning walk into town (about 5kms along the lakefront).

Location and views

Just on check out some little things like placing remotes chairs and other miscellaneous items in exact positions seems a little trivial, but nothing of major importance to complain about.

Location was perfect and the view was amazing. The place was clean and comfortable with easy to use amenities. Would recommend and stay again

The stay was amazing, would've been perfect had there been air conditioning in the apartment. It gets quite hot during the summer.

It was contemporary designed, clean and comfortable with a beautiful lake view.

No complaints

The location, the views, the well equipped kitchen,laundry facilities and very comfortable bed.

The vacuum cleaner did not work, the television constantly ‘buffered’ the ‘on-line’ compendium was not very helpful or informative. The vestibule and staircases had not been swept, so first impressions were poor. The recycling bins were overflowing. Accommodation is on the departure flight path, with flights leaving from 7.00am.

View was excellent

Everything was great. The toilet flush wasn’t working and informed the owner. It was an inconvenience, but we somehow managed. It was over a weekend and the property manager couldn’t be reached, so we let the owner know. Otherwise everything was perfect.
