The Harlequin by AvantStay

First time staying at a Sonder location and it was a breeze. The location was only one block away from Bourbon street, and there were a ton of local eateries surrounding it, so we didn’t have to go far to enjoy food. Apartment was very spacious and clean and even though they mentioned the water pressure issue on other reviews, it actually was fine (could have been fixed by the time we arrived) and the water worked fine. My only complaint on the first night was how loud the central air unit was however, the air was cool (it was over 97 degrees in New Orleans), and it kept us cool and honestly we grew used to it. It was almost like white noise by the end of the first day. Other than that, an amazing location to stay at.

Vitascope is located in the ideal spot. It’s located next to a restaurant and convenient store. It’s only a few blocks from Bourbon Street. The inside is quiet and you don’t hear all the noise from the street. I had two concerns. Food was accidentally left out and ants were coming out of the wall for the food. To stop the ants I had to put a line of dish soap in the crack by the sink which helped. The other concern was having directions on how to work the television. It would have been nice to watch tv while eating a late night snack. Those two things aren’t deal breakers, so I will definitely stay here again.

I write this review with Care. Absolutely beautiful place, clean & classy on the inside of unit.. I did address the issue that my phone sent me a notification saying that there were camera devices in that apartment whenever I walked in. I called them finally, I got a hold of somebody and they told me it was noise monitor in the unit.I find that false as I couldn’t barely hear due to noise outside. With that being said, It left an uneasy feeling inside the unit whenever (female traveling alone) should not feel that way inside. But at the same time whenever I address the issue with the detector, I also address issue of needing an extra blanket and they were quick to respond and send somebody over to give me a blanket so I find my overall experience good.

This property is perfect for a group of people. I didn’t need to speak to anyone throughout my stay. They gave clear instructions as to how to enter the building. I will say there are very few lockers to count on the locker hold before check In. The AC worked but the front bedroom wasn’t as cool as the rest of the apartment. The elevators worked the entire time. There’s multiple stores and culture right below you so you have everything you need! I would recommend and stay there again!

I like that it was spacious the location was great

I didn't like the noise of the air conditioning it sounds like motorcycles coming down the street very very loud so we didn't get much sleep I didn't like that I had to call about the hot water that took almost a day and a half to fix we had to take baths in the sink because the water was cold I didn't like the fact that I needed extra towels and it took a while for that there's nobody in the building that you can talk to everything is text message or phone call I didn't like that not one bit.. my room was 402 and 201-402 have the worst noise for the air conditioning and the water pressure was extra low

Loved the location and the apartment. Should upgrade to a smart tv so people won’t have to download an app to watch tv. Also should have staff on site 24/7 or provide more towels so people won’t have to wait hours for them.
