TownePlace Suites by Marriott Ironton

Room was nice customer service was great. Water was messed up and it was a cold shower but other than that it was a great visit!

First time staying here. The receptionist told us our room was quiet because it was toward the back on the 1st floor. Nope, it wasn't quiet at all. Our room was right beside Washington Street and traffic runs constantly. Trying to sleep is rough with loud vehicles and blaring music from them. It finally died down around 10pm but at 5am we got woke up to it again. I tried earplugs and even turn a "fan" video on my phone on high volume to drown out the noise but I could still hear the loud vehicles. Its hard taking a nap in the late morning due to the slamming of doors. I loved the room tho, very clean, had a full kitchen. The bathroom was nice but thought the shower was weird with just half a glass door. Has good lightning, spacious closet. Shower water is as expected like most hotels. The bed is ok, has flat pillows. Cons: of course noise from Street right outside the window. The vent overhead in the bathroom didn't work, so the whole room would get steamed up. There are no cups in the bathroom so be sure to bring your own. I went to a dollar general not far away and got some plus handsoap. I had to put a towel on the floor to the shower cause water will spray our of the shower. If we come here again I'll definitely ask for a room on a higher floor. The noise made it rough sleeping. I'd been alright with everything else but being told we'd have a quiet room felt like a lie.

Clean room, friendly staff. Great location right off the highway. Plenty of restaurants nearby.

The location was great, easy to get anywhere. It has several restaurant's nearby with Tudor's Biscuit World a great choice.

The ice machine on the 4th floor was not working, and the pillows need replacing, most are flat.

This the third time we stayed there and we love it.

We have been stay at this TownePlace Suiyes in Ironton, Oh ever since it opened. I do not have a problem with pets at the hotel. Up until a year ago we always had our cocker spaniel with us. HOWEVER I draw the line at them going into the dining area. There was an older couple that had a yapping little dog that they brought into the dining area. I’m not sure if we will stay here any more after this.
