Ruby Mimi Zurich

The hotel itself was beautiful, with lots of charming details and unique touches. However, our room left much to be desired. We were placed on the top floor, which sounded promising, but the view was nonexistent. The windows were sky lights and made the room 1000 degrees. Thankfully, there were window covers that’s helped tremendously. The ceilings were so low that it was difficult to stand comfortably, and the room felt very cramped. The main “amenity” was a guitar amp, which seemed impractical for most guests. While the overall property was stylish and well done, the room experience unfortunately did not match the rest of the hotel.

Great place to stay right in the middle of all the action. It worked very well as we wanted to stay close to the train station. Also this place is right next to the shopping hub with excellent food options all around within walking distance. As for as negatives, the room we stay was very small and very pricey, or else everything is wonderful.

The rooms are tiny, lack basic amenities, uncomfortable beds, no fridge, no coffee maker. They have a shared space on most floors with a coffee station, however none had any cups. Please stay away from this hotel if you want value for money or a comfortable stay

Close to everything, especially the main train station

Room was exquisite! Location was phenomenal! Staff were extremely polite and helpful! And breakfast is a must - a full breakfast buffet! If we come back to Zurich, we will definitely stay again!

Overall a great stay

Convenient location to train, grocery, old town. Breakfast was good. Note that the building has many rooms and 6 floors served by only 2 slow and small elevators. Only one elevator goes all the way to the top floor. We ended up using the stairs a lot as elevator wait was at times quite long. I would stay again but would try to get a room on a lower floor.

Stayed for the first night of our honeymoon and had a brilliant experience. Good location for the train station and exploring Zurich. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and our room was very comfortable with nice touches like a vintage radio. Great drinks in the bar and lovely breakfast too! Wish we could have stayed longer.
