Cwtsh Hostel Central Swansea, Social & Modern, Near Train Station

The only thing we liked about the property is the location. Its in middle of the city

1. There were no basic toiletries in the washroom . Usually basic stay provides all those things . Nothing was mentioned when we book as well. 2. We have to take the bed linen after use and put for laundry which was also a new experience. 3. No hangings were there to put the coats or jackets only found one for these many .

Bed comfortable. Lounge comfortable.

Loud PA system from pub across the road holding it quiz night. Surely no need for it to to be so loud that it was like they in the room with me.

Staff were great Double room was clean and functional Excellent location

Shower head was to heavy for its holder

We were a merry motley crew where I stayed with annealed steel ladders and mattresses on top of what appeared to be school desks it was sturdy enough for 120+kg and large enough not to feel suffocated. No need for a working phone if you walk out the train station and keep walking you’ll find it.

The showers were good, they provide everything you need including towels but one of the showers in the room is either too hot or too cold. I used the only shower room in the dorm which was perfect temperature.
