Very spacious, nice outlook on the lawned area.

one of the coldest days on arrival, heating on very low and not high enough to heat the rooms adequately and turned up heating fully but still cold, next day was better once the building had warmed up. Soft furnishings chair in the bedroom needs a good clean as seat very stained. Pillows and mattress cover when we stripped the bed as request where stained. Small table in bedroom damaged with tea ring stains and what looked like a mark left by tongs. Photo of accommodation showed an arm chair in the accommodation which is why we choose this venue as partner has bad knees and easier to get up from. There was no armchair in the venue.

The apartment was spacious, clean and well thought out. The bed was comfortable, the shower worked perfectly, the surroundings were quiet

Couldn't use the key safe (had to ask another guest to do it!!!) It took me over an hour to find the place when I first arrived as it was after dark, with no street lights. The sign was not obvious

The property rules/guidelines insist on a strict check out without option to request a later check out when nobody else will be using the property afterwards. Also insist you put out the bins, remove the bedding and leave everything clean else you may be charged. The linen is provided but if it is left too dirty you may be charged.( quite what that means and who’s the judge of that is not explicitly stated). Clean after ourselves and leave things tidy is something we would do but the tone in the property handbook feels wrong.

The owner was friendly and helpful, the Stables overall was lovely and we very much enjoyed our stay.

quiet and comfortable

great location, very quiet. easy access and good information for key collection. This property has no on site staff it’s self serve admission and exit. Bathroom was clean with nice fluffy towels. Heating and hot water instructions were easy to follow. Good information booklet supplied.

part of your staying fee is for cleaning which is ok if the cleaning was done. Massive live spider in the bedroom waste bin, pet hair and cobwebs were still visible. I’m glad I didn’t cook in the property as the oven has a lot to be desired.

Cleanliness, large comfy bed, location, parking, well stocked kitchen utensils, laundry facilities, heating/ hot water controls at our own discretion, large outside garden areas, walking distance to village, countryside walking routes

Shower pump extremely noisy, sounds like it's days might be numbered - although still functioned. Rubbish bins were overflowing whilst we visited

Good size and location

Not secure garden for the dogs and near a main road. Could have done with a deep clean.
