WoodSpring Suites Elgin - Chicago

Charged me for a room, when I got there everything was closed. Called the phone number on google just to hear “we don’t have anything available”. To get my money back I have to cool some kind of 3rd party company. DO NOT RECCOMEND

Ratty towels, windowshades partly missing (ground floor room) had to hang a bedsheet over the window, bedding had a bad odor, no drinking cups provided. This was basically just like a gross Motel 6, but more expensive. Never again...

Nice place to stay

We got there at 10.00 & lobby was close We have to wait for half to check inn

Not much. I was traveling for business and took a short walk around the office park it was located in after a long ride in my vehicle.

I don't worry about safety at a hotel, but the owner of this place made it clear by the way the place is run you'd better watch your back. I got a weird vibe from the business that there are unsavory characters staying there. They clearly are worried about it. The staff also didn't give a s&^$. I needed to iron a shirt for an important meeting the next day. Not only was there no iron in the room, I requested one from the front desk, and got one, with no ironing board. Not particularly helpful.

They charge for towels and do not clean rooms except every 2 weeks

The fact that It had listed a king and all they had was queen. And my card never worked on the machines and had to make two or three trips to my rm and the front desk.being handicapped that was rough
