OYO Castle Hotel, Accrington

Bar incredibly loud. Toilet seat not attached. Window not soundproof at all. Breakfast attempt shocking

Ein Pub im Erdgeschoss war für mich als Alleinreisender ideal. Konnte mich an der Bar gut unterhalten. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Mein Fahrrad konnte ich mit aufs Zimmer nehmen, das vereinfacht vieles, weil ich nicht alle Taschen abmontieren musste. Als ich schließlich schlafen ging, war wider erwarten vom Pub unterhalb kein Lärm zu hören. Für mich die perfekte Unterkunft, hatte einen tollen Aufenthalt.

Easy to find, nice proper pub, rooms good size, en suite shower was great.

Stated the rooms had baths, which they didnt. No food available.

Friendly and helpful staff, the key was available as soon as I arrived, the host took me to my room to avoid any confusion so this was really helpful. The facilities good with tea and coffee, the hotel tidy, including the room, good value for money and a good location, was able to park as I was worried about where to park, the host put my mind at ease and there were no problems after this, so overall a good experience and I will return on my next visit to Accrington.

A room above a pub near the centre of Accrington. The room itself was fairly basic, but equally was clean and large. For the price paid, I was happy enough.

Convenient to train station.

A bit expensive.
