OYO Castle Hotel, Accrington

Can’t ask for more. Proper community pub. John the landlord met us at the bar, offered to lock our bikes for the night and welcomed us like locals. Cheap and cheerful, just what we wanted.

Nice renasble hotel in the middle of town

This is basically a pub with rooms, the building itself is in poor condition. It should not go under the guise of a Hotel as there wasn't even a bedside locker.

Location was directly in the centre room was clean

The room was very small and the kettle didn’t work

Nice pub. Good beer. Friendly landlord. Room large and clean. On a main road so a bit noisy from traffic but otherwise very good. I'd stay there again.

The location was very close to train & bus station. Right beside town centre. The staff were very friendly & very helpful. The single room was small but absolutely perfect for 1 person. Very clean, comfortable bed & tv. Was above a very good pub but the noise didn't travel so was absolutely perfect location as I was going to the football then brilliant to get a few pints before going to my room.

The weather!! It was hammering down. Regarding the property their was no food however was various food places surrounding so was no problem.
