beautiful property, incredible staff and spa

food could've been better, location was quite remote

This is a stunning place with lots of attention to detail. Sadly it did all make me feel a little like I was in a big chain hotel. Staff were friendly. Room was pretty. Food was tasty. Spa treatments were good but at London prices. Which was to be expected.

Communication before was barely existing and after many emails I was told I could book all extras on arrival. When we then wanted to have massages, the spa was full on that day. Lying by the swimming pool was near enough impossible as there were only 18 loungers for the entire hotel. We were offered dining chairs and had to be a little fussy to get some sort of more comfortable chair in the sun. On our organised safari, the driver and guide gave up the search once we had seen 1 tiger for 30 seconds. They started chatting, driving slow and not caring. Also on arrival you get given Gem. The s is a person to look after you. Much as he was very kind, he did try and call me a lot, which I would miss as I didn't want to be on my phone. No mediation available when I was there and only 1 yoga class.

Super stay. The property is beautiful. Abhishek - a member of your f&b team who was taking care of us at our private dinner at the shikar burj was fantastic. Kudos to him and the entire team.

- too many pigeons - should look into ‘bird b gone’ gel to deter them without harming them - ⁠spent most of 2 days cleaning and buffing floor outside our room even though one of only 10 rooms in use - surely could have been done at a different time - ⁠service slow generally, whatsapp chat didn’t work as well as could have - ⁠organisation of safari complete joke - can’t guarantee you any days safari despite that being the reason for trip

The property is beautiful

Hospitality is poor. It’s an expensive property . One would expect quality of hospitality to match with the tariff , but unfortunately that is not the case. We had a very poor experience where we were subjected to being barred from the only covered restaurant for an entire morning and afternoon for another party guest as they had booked it for a private meal. Also, the hotel allowed the other party to host their functions with blaring loudspeaker music , and get togethers . It destroyed the tranquility of the place for the other in-house guests like us . Though the property is beautiful but the management of the hotel is far from being hospitable for minority guests

Very beautiful property, good food, spa was amazing!!

Access roads to the fort was overdone to create fort like appeal but it’s unwarranted when you have to access the place several times a day. Also, not much of activities for families.

Breakfast arrangements were terrible!

The guy who was supposed to be our “GEM” was were bad at what he was supppsed to do! He couldn’t arrange proper breakfast, and whatever we asked for, all he replied that he will get back but never did and we had to constantly be calling him to get answers! They couldn’t arrange one cup of hot coffee for us and in fact they didn’t even know the difference between instant coffee and filter coffee!! Terrbile!!!
