Six Senses Fort Barwara Sawai Madhopur

The property itself inside a heritage Fort gives a real timeless atmosphere. The service is very good with attentive staff. The food was amazing and the dining experience inside the Shikar tower was unforgettable !

It’s a bit remote so you really need to be motivated to go there! Nothing to do at night besides restaurant.

The staff really made a mess of my bill and also insisted some inclusions were not part of package asked to see my booking which was insulting while paying for this property why would a person try to get freebies as the costs are high

Property itself was stunning and worthwhile the drive from Jaipur - several coves around the large property to linger, beautiful swimming pool and gardens. All staff, from our Guest Experience Manager, to dining staff, Reception and housekeeping was wonderfully friendly, helpful and always available. Generous and varied breakfast selection. Really enjoyed the live Indian music at dinner.

Considerable city noise, particularly loud music from a wedding next door. Wonderful meals at the "Cortile" restaurant (Indian). Mediterranean restaurant - great service, some dishes perhaps needed some work (the lamb kofta quite dry).

The rooms were excellent. The food was great. The hospitality was top notch.

The SPA was horrible. Very inexperienced masseuse. They were rushing through all the body parts. Not a single body part I felt relieved. As soon as the SPA got over 1st thing both of us said was the worst SPA ever. The handle in the bathrooms are too protruding out. So many times we got hurt just while entering and getting out of the shower and WC areas. Few of the waiters were inexperienced and so meal experience was shadowed by it.

Stunning architecture! Beautiful property with amazing interior design! The service by the pool was great . Everything was very clean and well looked after.

I don’t know where to start from … We did not like the service at the restaurant! The worst we have ever had anywhere around the world ! It was a complete chaos! No one knew what to do! It looked like the staff had no training at all or if they received one it’s wasn’t proper . Two people could not open the wine bottle for 5 min . First one boy tried then went away and another one came , then he couldn’t and went again to open it in the kitchen . Another evening we went to a table and saw almost half empty bottle of water . We asked if the table is already occupied with guest. The staff said no , but the plates had a very tiny marks from touching and also the water glasses been moved. It’s looked like someone sat and didn’t like the table and moved to another one . We requested the plates and the glasses to be changed. The staff is not clearing the empty plates regularly. We have been wondering how this is possible even for a buffet style restaurant. They come and fill your water with glass but not clearing the empty plates ? We had to clear the table . Same thing happened when we had breakfast inside . You feel like having a dinner at Mac Donald’s not at Six Senses ! We have ordered risotto but no one told us there are a few rise options to choose from. Somehow they choose not to cook the original recipes. When you cook with different rise the whole taste change and then is not a risotto it’s meal with rise . We stayed 3 nights and 80% no one is opening the door for you . The problem with the door is that there is a buffet style lunch and dinner and you are holding the plates. Literally I was staying by the door and waiting someone to assist me with opening the door every time . We chose to sit outside because we wanted to enjoy the music from the local band that plays every night . When we arrived at the hotel after 6pm it was all ready late so we went to dinner. Later on the next day where the desk is we saw that the wall and the selling are with mold.

Amazing location and property. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we received an amazing experience. This was the best hotel I’ve started at, myself and our group absolutely loved it!
