Riverside Shrewsbury by Chef and Brewer Collection

Great location for exploring from, we stayed 3 nights as wife had a conference in Telford for 2 days was easy 20min drive to there from this quiet country location. We are one night in the restaurant as well as breakfast on two days all delicious and good quality. Drink selection was also great. Room was clean, quiet with a lovely view of the river. Would happily stay again.

Very friendly and cozy spot. Beautiful site on river - only downside is proximity to major road in the front and pub music in the back - but it was not a significant issue for us. Food in restaurant was very good.

Enjoyed my stay, little further out than realised but views made up for locality

Great one-night stay. Good menu and quality in the restaurant, and comfy bed. The place looks freshly refurbished and the rooms are lovely, but don't expect a lift - this is a very old building. The river view is gorgeous.

Lovely garden with views down to the river and across the hills. Friendly staff & excellent service at the bar and restaurant. Dinner in the restaurant was good - not fine dining, but better than average pub food.

Lovely spacious room with large bathroom. Comfortable bed. The restaurant downstairs has fantastic views over the River Severn and beautiful gardens. The food is well prepared standard fare - steaks etc. - but nothing gourmet.
