Riverside Shrewsbury by Chef and Brewer Collection

Great hospitality. Every personnel seemed a natural in customer service. This was for business...I'm used to staying in hotels, where they just can't provide this personal touch. It's convinced me to start booking at smaller places going forward

Absolutely liked the place, the sat nav took me elsewhere to start with which was frustrating. But once I arrived it was worth it. Excellent helpful staff. Beautiful rooms ( I’m bringing my wife with me next time as they are so nice ) Great food !

Fabulous stay, wonderful staff and the whole Inn was beautifully refurbished to a very high standard. Also wonderful views of the river from the restaurant.

Fantastic hotel and great food bus stop just putside to get you into Shrewsbury so all good lovely staff

Lovely little spot. Usually book chain hotels and after this experience I won’t be going back to them. Loved the room, really good size and had everything I needed at a very good price. It was spotless and looked on to the river courtyard, which is a beautiful setting. The options for breakfast were also a really nice change. Highly recommend and will definitely be coming back if I’m ever in the area.

Hotel did not have my reservation, complained about evening meal and breakfast and was told thank you. Not a place I would recommend.

Superb, the hotel was great and the room was excellent, big and spacious. The food in the restaurant was delicious and the setting was lovely.

The Staff could not have been more helpful this is a testament to good staff All where very friendly and couldn't do enough to make our stay comfortable,

This was a wonderful place to stay - I was slightly worried as I booked it at the last minute & being a pub hotel wasn’t sure it would to standard but it was lovely, welcoming & extremely clean. It is a pleasure to be so positive about somewhere as usually that is not the case!

The room was quite spacious with lovely décor. The bathroom, too, was roomy. Being an older building the sliding sash windows were single glazed letting in a little draught. May be chilly in winter. The restaurant was very good with beautiful views of the River Severn.
