Southernhay Court Apartments

A little complicated from video as more lock boxes than shown. The property manager helped me though.

I don't feel the cold luckily but there was no heating on in the property on timer or for me to switch on. Didn't affect my stay but other guests may get cold.

Location convenient to main part of Exeter.

Insufficient instructions to find and enter the apartment. We spent an hour trying to find it and get in. No one was available to assist. Heat and hot water were not on (it was dark, rainy, and 38F/3C when we arrived). Bathroom sink leaked. Beds were uncomfortable. Sofa bed was not made up like we requested.

The location is excellent for access to the city center. Parking is limited. The fold away bed was not comfortable and we had to purchase a foam pad to make it sleepable. The bedroom closet door was in need of repair. We would recommend to friends.

Chris and team were fantastic to work with. He addressed all of my inquires and made the check in and out process so easy. The apartment is large and spacious. The location is near the cathedral which made walking anywhere easy! The unit had a good size frige and stove and dishwasher!!! All amenities were in the unit too! I would visit again! Thank you!

Location is perfect for a city stay. Very easy to walk to town

The pictures make it seem like this is a new and well equipped apartment. This is not the case. The apartment is tiny, the room barely fit a bed in it and everything was extremely cheaply furnished. The beds were desperately uncomfortable, the sofa bed was bent out of shape and the duvet, pillows and sheets were tired (I had to change the sheet on the main bed because they were dirty!) I received a total of 14 emails from the company, which was just irritating. Checking in, checking out, paying extra deposits and parking. It was all just a hassle.

Location. Easy access to high street shops and restaurants.

Thin walls, so can hear the neighbours coming in and out at night.

Location is excellent. Lovely quiet neighbourhood, a 2 minute walk from the Cathedral. Everything was provided for a home from home stay. The property was cleaned and bedding changed midweek.

Sofa wasn't very comfy.

The location and convenience

Hard to find the block of flats, took one hour in the rain. Then we had to find the key in a box where the writing has faded off.
