Southernhay Court Apartments

The property was very clean and well presented. It was perfectly situated for the town centre. It had everything we could need. It was a good size for the two of us. Overall we had a very comfortable stay.

The only small negative and it is a very small negative. Is that the duvet cover had a small torn hole and what appeared to be discolouration. However, it was clearly clean and newly washed.

Excellent location, in the city center, very nice street, close to pubs, restaurants, sights, shopping area and the university campus. Very detailed instructions about everything. Good communication with staff. Well equipped kitchen. Fair price all things considered.

It's quite small for a one bedroom. It is also on the ground floor, so keeping the blinds down is a must - that means no natural light, even at daytime. Wifi connection is very unreliable. The whole place felt damp and musty and could have been cleaner. It's in definite need of a do over. The building's hallway has no ventilation, so there's always a smell.

Ideally situated for cathedral and town centre

Didn’t accommodate for 3 as advertised. Only 2 chairs, sofa bed was very hard and didn’t have bedding ready, needing me to find and make. Very old duvet and pillows, smelt musky. Felt disappointed as the flat was very tired in areas not such the wow factor I wanted for my mum’s 70th birthday.

On the whole a good stay, few issues with parking but these got sorted quickly. Slight damp problem in bathroom and oven switch bit stiff. Perfect location.

Excellent location for town, shops, eating out etc. Everything we needed was provided and the whole place very clean. Ground floor accommodation which, with my limitations, was great and there was a planted area outside the window. Very pretty

To be honest, for our stay, everything was just as we needed. Enough crockery, cooking utensils, blankets etc so no need to eat out all the time.

I love the location, it was so central to everything and the train station was just around the corner.

Good location and parking. Easy to access. Wifi worked well. V clean. Basic gym. Well stocked kitchen. Good water pressure. Comfy bed.

Quite loud outside in the mornings, so be aware of this if you're not an early riser! Pillows very deep - actually slept without using them at all. TV in lounge is a little high for height of sofa, which is odd but manageable.
