This was my second stay. The first stay the bed was more comfortable than this stay but was upstairs. This stay I was downstairs (Better for me physically) I really like having security on site.

The bed was uncomfortable.

Hotel Zazz was fun! We came there after a long day of driving and it's happy vibe was rejuvenating. We enjoyed the pool and Speakeasy. Clean room, accommodating staff, and all the regular hotel amenities plus a little extra. Great location with good dining options in easy walking distance.

I just completed a 3 night stay here (09 to 12 Oct 2025). Let me share my experience to show you how I was forced to pay US$1160.97 for the 3 night stay instead of an original booking agreement for a 4-night stay of US$588.15. 1) Original booking, #BB24121416018116 made on 14 Oct 2024 is for a 4-night stay from 09 Oct to 13 Oct 2025 is US$588.15. 2) On 31 Aug 2025, I wrote in to say that I would like to change my stay to 3 nights from 09 Oct to 12 Oct 2025 and requested a 1-day refund. 3) On 04 Sep 2025, they modified my booking to 09 Oct to 12 Oct 2025 and indicated that I now have to pay US$1160.97. 4) I immediately protested and saying that I should be given a refund on my original booking and not be charged more for the 3 night stay. I told them that it is not logical them to charge me almost double the original cost when I wanted to reduce my stay by 1 night. I told them that I could have just kept my original booking instead of changing it from 4 nights to 3 nights. 5) They claimed that by requesting a change of 4 nights to 3 nights is equivalent to me making a cancellation and rebooking. I told them that I did not cancel my original reservation, and that I only requested a reduction of 1 night stay. 6) They did could not show proof that I actually made a cancellation, but continued with the assertion that I have to pay the new quoted price. I tried to negotiate with them through email with their so call manager, SHARMIN. However, this so called manage decided not to response to my email after several attempts over more than a week. 7) Suddenly, on 09 Sep 2025, I was informed by my bank that Hotel Zazz had taken USD1160.97 from my credit card. I told the bank that I only agreed to US$588.15 and not US$1160.97. The bank told me that if I want to move forward to make my complain, they will have to do a complete investigation into the affair and it may take a while to have it cleared and there was no guarantee that I will get my money back. 8) In view of this, I decided to completely cancel my booking due to this very unfair charging. By doing so I would at least get my money back 9) Their reply was “Just so you are aware you are passed the refund timeline.” 10) I had to redraw my cancellation request, as it will mean that I will lose the whole amount. 11) At this point, I had no choice but to go ahead with my 3 night stay at the price of US$1160.97 If I had known that they would do this to me, I should have just accepted the original 4-night stay at US$588.15 and not made a request to reduce my stay by 1 day. How is it they are able to take from my credit card US$1160.97 instead of my original authorised US$588.15? The so-called manager, SHARMIN refused to understand my situation and frustration, refused to response to my emails, and suddenly decided to deduct from my credit card an amount that I did not authorise. As I am not staying in USA, it would not have been worth my while for me to take legal action on Hotel Zazz. For that reason, I had to do the 3-night stay at the illegally raised price of US$1160.97. Conclusion: Be careful when you deal directly with the Hotel. They are not interested in your problem. They will only take care of their own interests no matter if it is legal or not. I would like hear responses from this community on what they think of my situation.

"Sweet place to stay near airport, lovely remodel of an older facility"

Arty, reasonable, accessible to airport and downtown, pool, and best: great women-owned, funny and helpful staff at front desk, always willing to take care of any questions. Loved them!!

I could not make door code or remotes work but maybe I was just tired; parking very tight with old fashioned small carpark lines hard for big new vehicles to occupy with enough room to maneuver in and out. No shuttle or bus service to airport that I could find though.

"Hotel Zazz worst customer service ever"

Unfortunately I cannot recommend this hotel. And it’s really a motel, all doors open to the outside and it can be e a bit noisy with the parking lot right outside your door. I wanted to support a woman runner business business so we booked 4 rooms for the balloon fiesta. There were some nice things, location. You could walk to restaurants and such. The beds were comfortable and the decor was fun and quirky. The 3 front desk people I spoke with in the 3 days I was there were friendly but not helpful. There was a change in plans on who was coming so there had to be a change in the beds from king to two queens in two of the rooms. The other two remained the same. There was a theee way phone conversation with regards to this matter and after 20 minutes it was sorted out. During this conversation nothing was ever said about an upcharge. A few days later I called back and spoke with the “manager” about putting one room in my name instead of the person who could not come. Again I spoke with a “manager” and nothing was said about an upcharge. A few days later I was billed the rate I had booked with. Then the next day I was charged $400. Thought I’d resolve the error when we checked in. Got there and after questioning the charge the first clerk said he’d speak with the “manager” and have it removed or reduced. Reduced?? I was never told there was an upcharge for changing beds. If we had been told this during the 3 way phone conversation none of us would have agreed to that and we would have just cancelled. So two rooms were charged an additional $400 making it a total of $800. That’s $200 per bed and that’s insane. Never heard anything so next day there was a different person there. He said he had seen the note and the manager would be in at 4:00. Asked if I should come back at 4:00 and the answer was no the “manager” will be in touch with me. Never heard a thing. The third day there’s yet another person and I again explained the issue. She said it’s because it’s a bigger room. The rooms are all the same size. It’s a motel not a hotel as you would think since it’s in the name of I looked at the rooms with the king beds and they were the same size as the rooms with two queens. I asked if she could call the “manager” and she said no. Asked if she could text and she said yes. Shortly after she said she didn’t get a response but the “manager” works remotely and never comes in. What “manager” works remotely. I then said I’d be doing a reverse charge with my CC. When checking out again asked about speaking with the “manager” and was told her mother unexpectedly dies the night before. With all the run around I highly doubt that. Customer service is nonexistent. It’s a shame I have to reverse the charge but they leave me no option. And the other person who had two reservations was told that all phone calls are recorded so they’ll look into it. Now you need to let someone know if you’re recording the phone conversation and again this was not mentioned. It could be a great place if they were honest but unfortunately they left a very poor impression and I cannot suggest anyone stay there. And they charge you to park in the motel lot.
