The Crail Maltings

The flat was spacious, very comfortable, clean and well appointed. It had everything a family with young kids could want and more besides - I loved the night light in the bunk beds room, and all the toddler cutlery and crockery in the kitchen. The facilities available were excellent as well, a tumble dryer really means the world on holiday! It’s in a great location for exploring Fife, and on a bus route into St Andrews.

The lack of a collected rubbish bin outside must be an issue for travellers - there arent any local rubbish collection facilities apart from the dump in St Andrews and that’s not convenient in terms of location or opening hours. That’s not the fault of the apartment, more the local council making it difficult in Crail, I believe

Very comfortable beds and plenty towels

Not enough storage for clothes, a set of drawers inside the wardrobe would have been good. No ‘normal’ channels on tv or instructions how to use it. Front door handle difficult to use

The accommodation was excellent. Great location in Crail centre. Very spacious apartment with good facilities.

Guests have to take away all rubbish as there is no organised collection. Other than a bottle bank there is nowhere in Crail for public waste disposal. Having to take bin liners of rubbish away in the car was messy and smelly. This could surely be improved as it was a disappointing end to an enjoyable stay.

Excellent location in the village, good size bedrooms and large living space with fully equipped kitchen, dining area and comfortable living room. Plenty of towels provided and welcome package was a nice touch!

Nothing, would happily stay here again.
