Courtyard Rochester Downtown

Very clean rooms.

Room refresher sprayed everywhere which was especially in halls. I am allergic to synthetic perfume which gives me headache’s and asthma attacks.

Extremely dissatisfied with this hotel! Will not stay here again. Staff were very inflexible. Expected better from a Marriott affiliated property.

Hotel was excellent, service was excellent and best of all the room smelled clean and amazing and the sheets and linen and towels were excellent and smelled fresh!

Absolutely comfortable and clean

There was loud noise from the room above me. Loud stomping at night and early morning constantly.

I have stayed at a lot of hotels in the past two years, and the Courtyard Rochester Downtown is now one of my favorites because of the little things. The room and bathroom were clean, spacious and well arranged (enough counter space in the bathroom, smart furniture, etc.). The bed was super comfortable. The Bistro area was a great place for me to hang at 4 am so that my husband could continue to sleep uninterrupted for a couple of hours (having a comfortable place to go in the early morning is a big plus for me). Also, the gym had an area WITH mirrors where I could complete an online workout using my iPad. Normally hotel gyms put the weight benches in front of the mirrors and the equipment many women use (mats, bands, balls, etc.) in a back corner with no mirrors. The hotel location was great, my husband and I were able to take an enjoyable walk through the neighborhood after dinner. We were just passing through the area for one night (travelling from Vermont back to Michigan) so we had no idea what to expect but we would now go out of our way to visit Rochester again. The employees were very nice and helpful.
