"Had a wonderful visit!"

We were at the Pendry for a business meeting and had the most enjoyable 4 days. The hotel is stunning and so clean. The staff was super friendly and helpful! We enjoyed a fantastic lunch one day and breakfast every morning in apres pendry. It was the slow season but we thoroughly enjoyed it! Compass rental on property was awesome. Such helpful associates and the ebikes were so fun to take to town! It was a wonderful hotel and I would stay there again!

"Someone stole my bag left behind"

I accidentally left a bag with valuable items in the bathroom. When I called 24 hours later, the bag was no where to be found and someone would call me back… I had to call daily to finally get someone on the line. Security told me the bag wasn’t found, hopefully it shows up… and they aren’t responsible. I would expect to get my belongings back (even though it was my fault) from a nice resort. The bag was taken and no one is accountable. I’ve lost several hundred dollars and would not stay here again based on how they handled it.

"Good"

The trip was to get away to the mountains. It wasn't that. There was music playing all the time, as well as parties going on in the corridor outside our room. Very loud. When I asked the front desk, they said the music was for the vibe of the hotel and that there was an event the previous night. It was well past 10 PM and past any curfew time I know of.

Loved my stay here. Great property and very hospitable service throughout my time there. Staff was great. Also was within a 10-15 min drive to shops and restaurants. This would defintely be my go to upon returning.

"A Special Springtime Stay at the Pendry Park City"

I arrived late in the evening and the hotel was empty. Upon arrival, I was greeted by the bellman who offered valet for 70 a night. I chose to park in the public parking garage which is a very short walk down the same block from the hotel. The two front desk night person and night valet had trouble simply giving me my room key and letting me grab my own bags at the speed I wanted. The front desk person thought it was a good idea to have the bellman "take me up to my room", instead of simplying saying, up the elevator 4th floor, go right. That was really offputting and weird, normally they give me my key and tell me where my room is. Instead the front desk gave my key to the bellman even though the bellman was not helping me with luggage. Unthoughtful and inept--do not waste a guests time especially late at night-traveling all day. I was graciously upgraded to a room with a soaking bathtub, one of my VIP member perks. The Room itself (1 bedroom condo) was INCREDIBLY comfortable, clean, new and luxurious. The Bed was so comfy, it was like a dream. No doubt top quality mattress and pillows. I'd give the property a near perfect score in the furnishings and comfort. Beautiful rooftop pool and hot tub also. In the morning, the manager Filipe took care of all of my needs, including allowing me to trade my "Welcome Alcohol Shot" voucher for a healthy juice drink instead, and a late checkout. Philipe certainly stood out to me as an employee who understands the way hospitality works.

"Clean rooms, inconsistent service"

Perhaps it was due to mud season, but the service and amenities were not what I'd expect from a Pendry location. Valet was great and attentive (especially with only one person working each shift). But the front desk was a hit or miss. Sometimes we were greeted, other times we were completely ignored. We got conflicting information. Rooms were clean. We upgraded to a 2-bedroom suite in Tower 3 and were pleased. Checkout was confusing. There were discrepancies AFTER I reviewed the folio, signed, and checked out. I had to reach out about an incorrect charge and while John was communicative to handle and rectify, it was another misstep on their part that I had to catch and request support.

"Great Views and Staff!"

Such a beautiful property! The entire staff was so friendly. Room was great and clean and they were so quick to come set up the pull out bed and give us any additional towels, robes, needs etc. I have to give name shout outs to Claudia at the Kita restaurant (amazing food too) - her service was impeccable and I think his name was David with the valet team. The gym at the spa was also clean and had a great variety of machines. The pool rooftop is a definite must!

"Deeply Disappointing Stay at a Supposed Luxury Hotel"

My recent stay at the Pendry was, frankly, one of the most frustrating and disappointing hotel experiences I’ve ever had—and that’s saying something given the premium pricing and branding of this property as a luxury destination. Upon arrival, I was told that my reservation was not for that day, but for two days later. This was completely incorrect—my booking had never changed. Instead of taking ownership of the mistake, the front desk team offered little more than confusion. They managed to find a room for one night, but the service from there was shockingly poor. I was told to wait in the foyer until the room was ready, with no offer to assist with my bags. I had to ask what I should do with my ski gear and suitcase, and was met with a dismissive response: “Uh, I guess you could go ask my guys up front.” This is not the level of service I expect at any hotel, let alone one that brands itself as high-end—especially when the mistake was theirs to begin with. When I did finally get to the room, my bags didn’t follow. I waited over 45 minutes before having to call guest services myself to request them. Later that evening, I went to the front desk to confirm that the original reservation would be honored the next day, and to ask whether I would need to check out in the morning. I was told I could remain in the room until the original one was ready. However, the following day—while in the middle of a conference—I found my keycard had stopped working. I returned to the front desk (fortunately with my ID), where they appeared to have no idea what was happening. It was only after speaking with a manager that the issue was corrected. While I received a brief apology, it felt more like damage control than true customer care. The room we were eventually moved to had a foul odor, likely coming from the kitchen sink. It made for an extremely unpleasant environment. Other members of our party also experienced issues with their reservations, but they were at least offered hotel credits or drink vouchers. I received neither, despite having dealt with repeated service failures. To add to the list, I called guest services after realizing I had left behind medication in my original room. I never received a call back or any follow-up. The one bright spot during my stay was the restaurant and bar staff—they were warm, attentive, and professional. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the front desk team, whose lack of initiative, follow-through, and basic hospitality was the most disappointing I’ve experienced at any hotel, luxury or otherwise. I rarely leave negative reviews, but in this case, I feel obligated to share my experience. The Pendry fell far short of even average expectations, let alone luxury standards.
