Tongyeong Episode Guesthouse

Extrem netter und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber! Und sehr entspannte Atmosphäre im Guesthouse. Die Lage im Süden ist sehr schön und man kommt mit dem Bus oder auch zu Fuß ganz einfach ins Stadtzentrum.

Kakerlaken in der Küche, aber ich denke die lassen sich im Sommer wohl nur schwer vermeiden.

The host is absolutely amazing! He helped me a lot with planning what to do and how to get to the islands. Hostel has a cozy vibe and is equipped with everything you could need. The location is also convenient.

If you have big bags and all the beds are taken, there isn't much space where you can put your things. There is only a small locker. Also, I saw a cockroach in my room and although the owner was very nice about it and sprayed the room immediately, I found a few more in the bathroom and one even welcomed me in the kitchen sink.

Nous avons été extrêmement bien accueillis par Jeroen. Nous avons beaucoup échangé en anglais avec lui sur des sujets variés et notamment l histoire de la Corée d hier et d aujourd’hui. Jeroen nous a conseillés pour nos visites et sur les restaurants. Il est prêt à nous aider et nous donne son numéro de téléphone si nous sommes en difficulté. Je recommande vivement cet hôte pour les personnes qui aiment échanger et partager .

El anfitrión es súper amable y se interesa por la comodidad de sus huéspedes. Me encantó tener ese trato más cercano con él. Los desayunos se sentían como estar en familia. Además, da muy buenas recomendaciones de planes y restaurantes. Si tienes alguna duda, pregúntale. Está cerca del teleférico y del Skyline Luge, dos planazos que hacer en Tongyeong. La casa es muy cómoda. Tienes secador y útiles de useo, y también la posibilidad de usar la cocina. En el dormitorio había lockers.

El colchón era demasiado duro para mí.

Such an amazing experience in this lovely guesthouse! The host is incredibly nice and helpful, he helped me to prepare my 2 days, recommended me different options for dining around, and took me and the other guests to an excellent traditional Korean dinner one night! The breakfast is nice and the rooms are comfortable, the guesthouse is located on the other harbour, next to the cable car entrance, 15mn away from the city center by bus. I strongly recommend this guesthouse!

This place is one of those rare treasures that you only come across once every blue moon, let me tell you why: The first thing the house owner Jeroen will do is sit down with you and explain you all the things you can do in this area and will do his best to find information for you for the specific things you want to do. I think this should be standard practice for receptionists but only few receptionist do. He gave me an upgrade to a bigger room which made my stay even better. During breakfast we sat down and had lengthy talks and I got to know a lot about customsy beliefs and history of Korea. I'm truly grateful for this experience
