"Just convenient to the University "

We stay at a lot of hotels! My family loves to travel! This wasn't a great experience!! My son is going to IU Indy this year, so we picked this because it was the closest hotel! GOOD... Room and halls were very clean! The beds were comfy! BAD....Staff is very unpleasant! Breakfast was boring, and both mornings they ran out of almost everything by 8:30am. People were standing around for a while with empty plates, waiting for someone to bring out more. And when they FINALLY did bring out more, the staff rolled their eyes and huffed like we were the problem! We personally waited for a bit, then just left and drove to go get breakfast, both mornings! Plus, you share breakfast with the attached hotel, so it's packed in the breakfast area! Did digital checkin, but we had 2 rooms, and I wanted to get keys made for my husband and teens. The front desk clerk was listening in on a conversation with the guest next to me and asked me the same question twice, barely made eye contact, and couldn't care less that I was there. $42 a night for parking is crazy to me! We may HAVE to stay here again in a couple of months, only because it's the most convenient to the university... but I've been researching other hotels in Indy and probably just drive to the school!
