Epic Suites Hotel is set in the perfect location to explore the whole island. Local buses are cheap and regular and the red beach is an easy walk away. We had the most amazing holiday and so glad we stayed in this beautiful location and found this gem of a hotel where we were so looked after by Raphael, who provided the most lovely breakfast direct to our room every morning! This was an amazing and relaxing start to our busy days exploring this wonderful island. I would return in a heartbeat!

The view is beautiful. The neighbourhood, Akrotiri, is excellent - It has restaurants, shops, cafes and a bar but is away from the mayhem of places like Thira or Kamari. It is too quiet for anyone looking for that party vibe but was perfect for our chill romantic holiday.

The facilities need some updating and maintenance especially considering the price. It was hard to enjoy the pool with the high wind that often occurred- but this is natural for the landscape. I would advise renting your own transport! That way you can go and see some things or go to a beach where the wind is not as strong.

The premises (rooms and balcony) are big and very clean and comfortable. The view is epic. The area is very nice - with many restaurants, mini-markets and a bus stop 150 m from the hotel. Red beach is less than two km from the hotel and there is a good bus connection to it. Easy access to the hotel (that might not be the case at Oia or some other places, where you have to climb quite a bit). Breakfast is excellent, with number of choices provided. The staff is super kind and caring. I had lost my ear-ring and they were running till the bus station to give it to me, as I had checked-out aleady. There are winds almost all the time, yet even this was good - allowing to feel like in a bit diferent world.

The view was amazing. Easy to find and spacious place to park the car for free. Breakfast was brought to the room at the requested time. You really pay for the location/view.

The hot tub wasn't hot, but warm and there was no option to make it warmer. The towels were super hard and smelled as if they weren't dried properly. There was only one receptionist who had to arrange all, from check-in to cleaning, to making breakfast. Breakfast was very poor, e.g fresh fruits, was an apple and we always had to ask for it.
