Excellent location but very self service. No baggage assistance and only offsite parking. Breakfast very good. Room small but nicely appointed and quiet. Would stay here again.

We decided to stop by Como to stay for 1 night before we head to Venice. It was a last minute reservation so it was quite expensive, but WOW was it worth it! We have a family of 4 and so stayed at one of the suites. The concierge was so friendly and accommodating to allow us to check in earlier so we can rest before heading out into a 37C weather. The room was so modern and clean, and the AC is life saving. The location is right in the middle of the city but only a 10 minute walk from the Como S. Giovanni station. If we come back again, we will definitely stay here again. Highly highly recommend!

This is a wonderful small hotel located in Como. It is situated right next to the Duomo, and the Piazza Del Duomo which is one of the main centers of Como. The hotel is small but the rooms are above average in size for Europe, very very clean and well maintained. The front desk is staffed by someone who is helpful, knowledgable in English, and very familiar with the town. The hotel has a small outdoor restaurant and bar which was very good. The town is full of small restaurants, cafes, bars and shops which are all close to the hotel. You're within a half mile walk to the two train stations on either side of the town. It's also a close walk to the lake, which is beautiful. Access to the other towns on the lake is through the ferry system. The ferries are functional but not great. We visited in August which is the height of the tourist season and the ferries were very crowded. The ferry took about 2 hours to get to Bellagio and two hours back. We heard that there was a faster more direct ferry. Bellagio is a beautiful town but was hot and packed with tourists, so just be prepared if you visit in August. My favorite part of Como was exploring the streets of the town in the early morning as the shops open and before all of the tourists are out. Como is a fairly large town and did not seem as crowded as Bellagio. We also took a day trip to Milan which was excellent. All in all an excellent hotel.

We absolutely loved our short stay at the DBH. Staff were wonderful and allowed us to check into our room 2 hours early, which was a bonus. The hotel room was very comfortable, modern, air conditioned and clean. Breakfast was included and was fabulous. Location was great - very short walk to all of the shops and restaurants and to the Lake. We recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Como.

We had such a nice stay here. The room was immaculately clean, the hotel was very close to the train station. It was so nice to walk around because it’s right by the lake, and so close to all the shops. The breakfast was delicious, and the cappuccino was perfect. Staff was so friendly, and front desk was available 24 hours. The bed was so comfortable, we got really nice rest. The bathroom was nice too, really good water pressure making for quite pleasant showers. The room had a mini fridge, stocked with drinks. They also included complimentary water, a coffee machine, a safe, and really comfortable robes and slippers. Would definitely recommend this hotel for a clean, comfortable, and convenient stay at a reasonable price.
