Moon Wind Tayrona Hostel

the hostel was amazing, the location is perfect and the staff was very kind and always available for questions. the included breakfast was great and we also had dinner once.

We're traveling for almost five months through South America and this was by far the best accommodation that we had! It all started with a smooth WhatsApp contact after booking, where the accommodation helped us to arrange a taxi from the Santa Marta airport straight to the accommodation. From the moment of arrival, we felt very welcome. Our room was spacious, absolutely clean and had a great balcony. We also enjoyed the pool and the jacuzzi. One afternoon, we could even observe three toucans from there! The accommodation is also just a five minute walk from the Tayrona park main entrance away and a great restaurants. An extra bonus were the extremely cute cats and dogs that live on the property.

The location is unbeatable, nestled close to Tayrona’s natural wonders yet providing a peaceful retreat. Whether you’re traveling solo or with friends, this hostel offers a unique experience that combines tranquility, adventure, and top-notch service. I can’t recommend Moon Wind Tayrona enough—it’s a must-visit for anyone heading to this magical part of Colombia!

We loved all of it!

The hostel is a 5 min walk to Tayrona's entrance (up a hill and some stairs). There is a pool and jacuzzi to use. They will keep your bags whilst you stay at the park for 10000COP a day. They let us check in early which was definitely appreciated!

The breakfast was okay but not great. It would be really nice if they didn't charge you to leave your bag but it seems to be the done thing here.

Great location just 5mins walk from the entrance of Tayrona National Park. The hostel has a beautiful pool and lovely bar. We left our luggage safely in a locked room while we visited the park which was really handy! The staff were really lovely and accommodating - thank you again for a great stay!

Toilet was a bit old and not properly shielded

The staff - family - is friendly, willing to help with recommendations where to stay in Tayrona parque, where and how to go to the nearest beach. They were taking care of us not to be hungry at any time of the time;) thank you
