Moon Wind Tayrona Hostel

Susana and Abraham were really welcoming. They help us a lot with info about transportations and infos about a park in spanish. This property has a beautiful mountain view. Hammocks, pool and jacuzzi were excellent. Rooms with a bathroom, fan, bed with mosquito net. You can order a lunch or dinner there for a good price, also buy a water of other drinks. Literally, you dont have to leave the place even couple of days. On the ground floor were private rooms and on the first under the roof were hammocks. They also have private houses for rent. It is great to stay there one day before and after Tayrona park. You can leave your luggage there for 10.000cop a day. I can recommend to stay in Tayrona park for 1 or 2 nights in a camping or hammock, instead of just one day hike. As there might be a huge kew in front of the park from 8am for one or 2 hours.

For such a nice view you have to walk many stairs, but its worth it. Matress was very soft for me. My back hurt a bit. Breakfast was simple. Just fruits, 2 toasts and cofee. Or eggs instead of fruits.

Such lovely owners - felt really at home and they would do anything to help us. Room with AC was definitely worth the extra price.

Amazing location, right next to Tayrona's entrance. The staff was lovely and very friendly, the swimming pool was amazing after the whole day walking in the park. Beautiful view as well, good value for money

You could hear a lot the truck/car passing in the street, and basically our room was only seperated by a thin wall (that did not go till the roof) with another room, so it was not as quiet as we hoped it would (altought the street problem is probably a common problem in all the hotel in the area). Mosquitoes net could be better.

Lovely family who run the Hostal. Good shower but only cold water.

Very limited breakfast selection. My room was very spartan., just an extremely hard double bed and two plastic bedside tables, and the bathroom a loo, basin and shower. Nothing else, no hook or shelf in either and no mirror in the bathroom. In both everything had to be left on the floor.

100m from Tayrona park entrance. Staff very helpful and only 10,000COP to leave bags for the day whilst at the park. Nice viewpoint from the restaurant.

Wonderful place almost inside the jungle, close to the tyrona national park entrance. The staff and the owners were amazing!

It's a little hostel and you pay for what you get. Great views and fairly close to the entrance to Tayrona. But I would try Arca hostel, looked newer and cleaner.

Pillows are in desperate need for replacement. Had a balcony but just one chair? Shower head didn't work -water poured out the side.
