Moon Wind Tayrona Hostel

The location of the hostel was around nature with amazing views.

There wasn't water to have a shower. I believe that was a specific problem of that day but when we wanted to take a shower there wasn't water coming out of the tap.

Lovely pool and view. Basic facilities but still everything you need. The hostel owner was absolutely lovely and super accommodating

Wonderful small hostel, fewer than 100 meters from Tayrona Park. Also you can get to the beach with the bus in under 10 minutes. It's family owned and the couple who manage it, are very kind and open. The view is amazing. You can sit in the pool in the evening and watch the sun go down behind the mountains. You feel like the middle of nature there. Which scared me a little in the first night, but it is actually very safe there. All the neigbours and managers of nearby hostels know each other and look out for each other. And because tourists are important for them, they look out for you too. It's probably better, if you speak Spanish, because I am not sure, if the owners speak English. If we go back to Santa Marta, we will stay there again for sure.

The staff were very lovely and welcoming. The room was full of bugs when we walked in however and the pool filter was right behind our room which was very noisy all night long. It was hard to have a good nights sleep

Beautiful view and really well. Kept grounds and swimming pool. It’s family run and they were super accommodating with questions and bag storage during the national park visit.

The location is amazing and the family was adorable and extremely nice. The pool was beautiful and the views were unbelieveable. They had 4 little puppies and 2 kittens which just hung around the property and were very cute.

The place itself is very simple - no kitchen for communal use for example. But everything is clean and you are provided with everything that you need for an overnight stay.
