Residence Inn by Marriott Bogota

Great hotel with very friendly and helpfull staff. Hotel is located in a nice neighbourhood with everything in walking distance such as shoppingmall, parque 93, restaurants etc. We loved it here and will definitely stay here again with my family when visiting Bogota!

Staff was amazing and very friendly ( kudos) . The location for the hotel is great. Breakfast buffet is also very good. Amenities including the gym are top notch. However, given the gym is located below the hotel rooms, you can hear the weights constantly being dropped, and this can be very disturbing, especially when trying to sleep.

I stayed at this hotel several times this year due to its convenient location, wonderful staff and cleanliness. All these trades continue to shine at the Residence Inn, with exception to a few things, and sad to say, I will not return to this property in the future. During this stay, I was upgraded to a nice room that actually had two bedrooms, it was room 513, not that I needed that (more on tjis later). Unfortunately, I heard music both nights until 3:00am and then other loud noises of maintenance or who knows what, starting at 5:30am. The shower is almost impossible to work, either the water is too hot, or too cold, I could never get it right. It also takes almost five minutes to heat up in the first place. I noticed it on previous stays but it never really bothered me that much. Finally, I asked for a late checkout which was not granted. I was told it was based on availability, which is true, except if you are at a very high tier, in which case it only applies to convention hotels or resort hotels. Normally this would not have been a big deal, but it was the way it was presented to me from the front desk staff, which is clearly not the same as in the past. This issue bothered me the most because I was forced to leave early and it messed up my entire day's schedule. I spend a lot of money with Marriott Bonvoy for exactly these loyalty benefits. Well, I vented to the public. Overall this is a nice hotel, the staff at the restaurant is fantastic, and so is the cleaning staff. The noise is an issue though.

One of my favorite hotels in Bogotá. It is in a great part of the city with a lot of shops and restaurants all around. I have never had a bad stay here and the staff is always extremely friendly and welcoming.

This hotel made our stay in Bogota a great experience. front desk staff service was impeccable. they were very helpful and attentive , check-in process was quick and efficient. Every staff member went out of their way to ensure our needs were met. From the housekeeping, to all the personal at the restaurant. The breakfast buffet was outstanding . Highly recommend!

Everything was excellent

Great hotel. Lots of room. Access to a full gym / fitness club next door. 10 min walk to great night life / restaurants. Very fairly priced. Stayed at the four seasons the night before and liked this place better.

On the first night they welcome us by charging some taxes that we later find out we didnt had to pay as tourist. The noise of the gym is absurd, the dropping and the music it was like we had it inside the room. The pillows... we always choose Marriot because of the quality of the beds and pillows. This was not the case... plus the bleach odor was excesive. Later on the trip we changed hotel and in the new one they explainef to us the tax issues. So we gave away almost 300$ for the misinformation of the staff. Not staying here ever again.
