"Bel hôtel entre tradition et modernité"

Petit hôtel qui mêle parfaitement charme traditionnel et modernité. Si l’établissement n’est pas situé dans la plus jolie rue de Takayama, il n’est qu’à quelques minutes du centre historique. Les chambres sont petites mais fonctionnelles et confortables. Le onsen privé est très agréable. La plus : un parking est situé à quelques mètres de l’hôtel si vous venez en voiture.

Peu de choix pour le petit-déjeuner qui est assez cher. Nous avons préféré nous tourner vers les nombreux coffee shops de la ville. Le onsen est payant (1000 yens par personne pour 1h)

"Very nice stay in a Authentic Machiya"

It was a wonderful stay; the fact that it's a machiya added a very authentic touch to our trip. Furthermore, its location is quite convenient, allowing easy walking distance from the station and then exploring the historic center. I would definitely stay there again!

The only thing that could be, and that I've seen in other accommodations, is a thicker or double futon mattress; that greatly improves sleeping, but it's just a suggestion.

"Wonderful stay in central location"

Super central, large & clean villa and friendly staff. We enjoyed our stay very much! I can highly recommend this accommodation for a beautiful stay in Takayama!

It can become a bit chilly in the hallway and main bedroom due to limited isolation of the front door, but this is very easily fixed by putting on the heating.
