"Boutique family experience"

We spent 5 of our 21 days in Japan at the Machiya Hotel in Takayama. The staff was kind, cheerful and helpful. We enjoyed their hospitality. The room was clean and the coffee was exceptional!

Like most of our other stays, the room was on the small side.

Just perfect. Near to the station of train and bus. Premium facilities, clean, comfortable, relaxing, very kind staff. I just regretted that I stayed only one night in this beautiful hotel.
