We had a brilliant stay. Our host, Sophie, was lovely, and the accommodation was perfect

We had a wonderful welcome from Sophie. The little home comforts where appreciated. Such a lot of little extras such as flowers, chocolates, washing up liquid, cloths, extra towels. an iron and ironing board. Fresh ground coffee as well as tea bags, coffee, milk and sugar. salt, sauces, jam & marmite etc. Comfortable beds, Lovely hot water in the bathroom. Plenty of games to play, DVD's to watch and books to read, suitable for all ages. A large book with all sorts of options for things to do in the area. My Grandson really enjoyed helping Sophie to feed the pigs in a morning. On nice mornings we sat outside for breakfast. If you want a break away from it all, this is the place to be, as there is very little internet/ phone reception.

Perfect for us

The owners were extremely helpful and offered lots of recommendations for places to visit during our stay. The piggies on site were part of our little morning stroll. Lots of places nearby were dog friendly too. We also had great food in and around the towns we visited. It was a true countryside trip surrounded by sheep, horses and cows!

Lots of places we visited were a good drive away, even for a corner shop.
