lovely farmhouse, beautiful location, great for children and people who like animals (pigs, chickens, horses nearby, friendly dog). the cottage was nicely equipped. friendly and knowledgeable host.

firstly The WIFI was non existent - we hardly had any signal the whole duration of our stay which made it difficult to plan ahead for the day, check the weather and watch anything on the TV as there was no signal. There is also no phone reception so felt very isolated. I know that this is a remote location but with today' technology and an investment in proper wifi amplifiers this could have been solved, The flat was not clean, mould everywhere, the oven ,microwave, toaster and kettle were filthy as well as most of the crockery and cutlery- I had to wash everything we used beforehand. This was especially infuriating as they charged us an extra £50 for cleaning after our dog but the flat we received was only superficially cleaned. the garden was not tidy and full of weeds instead of plants and gravel like in the photos. the place have a lot of potential and charm but need a serious investment of time and money to bring it up to a standard of a place that charges £100 per night.

Good location,peace full,picturesque. Good facilities. We had a lovely welcome by the owner.the boys loved the pigs and the doggy.

The Wifi was not great. The bathroom not very clean shower curtain could do with a change. Very dusty loo brush. Cobwebs. Damp patchs in the main bedroom . Could do with cupboard space to put food. Fridge isn't really big enough for a family for 4. Mattress in top bunk could do with a change as springs popped out.
