Boca Grande Hotel Suites

The room I expected had a few issues. The king bed was two double beds pushed together and there were a lot of stains on the sheets which didn’t make it feel as clean. There was a big hole in a window that had another door behind it and didn’t feel safe but it was one night. The staff was amazing and helpful. But there was no hot water to shower.

At the entry to the hotel is the hotel cafe which had extremely loud music blaring. The lobby shown in the photo is deceptive because in reality it is half of what that pic portrays and was dirty. It was poorly built with uneven floors where we tripped 3 times just getting to the room. The worse part was the disgustingly filthy bathroom. The toilet seat was so stained with urine underneath that it must have been left dirty for a long time and when I wiped the top of the seat with moistened tissue some fresh urine stains came off, so they don’t clean between guests. The shower head was broken and the dark tile of the shower most likely has not been cleaned in a long time either. The pillowcase had a bunch of tiny blood stains, didn’t even bother to check the rest of the sheets. The windows ledges were so dirty that they looked like they had never been cleaned and at least one window didn’t close. This hotel is barely 3 years old, but the poor construction quality and the terrible maintenance makes it look like a dump, like a place for prostitution not for decent tourists. As a result, we left and were put in a difficult situation where none of the numbers of hotels we called worked and the sun was going down and this is not a country where you want to be driving at night. Terrible experience.

No one spoke English as advertised. No hot water, most dishes in the menu at the restaurant were not available, the tv didn't function well.

It was ok, close to the beach for a reasonable price. The only thing is, that I found a chewed gum stuck to the headboard of the bed (refer to image attached). The staff was very polite and friendly.

Great bang for your buck

Hotel is ok but very unsafe. The staff have no respect for customers. They want to push you away instead of giving professional service. No customer service at all.

bed sheets are torn, there is Church right in open air just next door to the hotel, and o=it's very noisy. Plus, the restaurant bar plays the music very loud, and it reverberates throughout the whole hotel building.

The place is clean and good value for your buck. Eventhought wxpedia charged me more that what the actual hotel doea
