Hotel is wonderful. Been multiple times and will return. Clean. Wildlife on site fantastic viewing. Tours easy to book and guides are knowledgeable.

Change the little vehicles used around property to electric!! They're extremely noisy and annoying at 7 am doing garbage runs around buildings. HUGE detraction from peace and quiet.

Experiencia deficiente. Nos hicieron un "up grade" de habitación, sin nosotros pedirlo y resulta que la segunda cama doble era un sofá cama con un colchón pésimo, se sentían los resortes por todo el cuerpo. Empezamos a entender porqué se nos ofreció eso. Como íbamos con 2 niños, creyeron que no iban a reclamar. Cono llegamos tarde, de noche al hotel y teníamos que levantarnos a las 4 am para un paseo, no pedimos el cambio de habitación. Para salir del apuro, pedimos dos o tres frazadas para acolchar la cama. Me pregunto si ese ofrecimiento se lo hubiesen hecho a otros turistas, sobre todo norteamericanos. Nos cobraron el desayuno de los niños, aún cuando lo habíamos contratado con 4 desayunos previamente, ya que según su política, los menores de 18 años tienen menú de niño. Obviamente mis hijos que tiene 16 y 14 años no iban a quedar satisfechos con esto, tuvimos que contratar el desayuno de adulto, que significaba 20 dolares mas por cada uno por día, o sea, 120 dolares mas que supuestamente ya estaban considerados. Una vergüenza. Pedimos unas hamburguesas a la habitación, de 22 dolares, con un trozo de carne seca, un pedacito de tomate y lechuga y lo peor, con papas de bolsa de supermercado. Nuevamente vergonzoso. El hotel tiene muy bonitas instalaciones, pero.el servicio deja mucho que desear.

The best hotel in the area, though the three 'tower blocks' for accommodation were a bit out of keeping. Decent food in the restaurant, and not cheap, but everyone helpful and friendly. We had tours booked so didnt use the pool, but still a great place to stay.

Some of the best people I have ever met. I love this place and I will return as much as I can. I was injured on a boating accident and everyone went out of their way to take care of me. I have never been in a place that made me feel so welcome as the people at Botanika.

On this review, I was asked if I went for Business, with couples, family or friends. It is hard to answer, on the most recent trip last week; I was at Botanika for work with people who are like family. Going to Botanika, well it’s taking my family and friends not on vacation, but we all go home to our other family. When you arrive, it’s just like pulling in your driveway after you’ve been gone for a while. Whether you have been there before or not, you are greeted with a hug, a hundred smiles and a beautiful song. When you blend the hard work and love of everyone at Botanika with a warm welcome, topped off with the natural essence of the OSA Peninsula; you’re just home with your family rather than on vacation.

We loved our stay at the Botanika! It had everything and more. We loved the secluded location, and how it was nestled into the forest. The trails on the property are beautiful and we saw monkeys, sloths, and scarlet macaws on them. We enjoyed excellent massages at the spa and sipped delicious cocktails at the pristine beach. I can highly recommend the gulfo dulce boat tour which we booked through the travel agency in the lobby.
