Sivana Tulum

The hotel itself was very nice and a great location right on the beach. The room was always clean and the water was refilled every day. The sunbeds on the beach were a dream. The lady at the reception is super friendly and we also took her dog to our hearts. The rest of the staff sometimes seemed unmotivated and annoyed.

It was just a shame that the beach in Tulum is full of seaweed and apart from restaurants and a few fashion shops there is nothing nearby. Tulum is incredibly expensive and as only breakfast is included, which unfortunately offers very little (toast, jam, coffee, fruit) you spend a lot of money on other restaurants.

Good location, big parking lot just in front

The AC did not work and it was a nightmare to sleep. Rooms are clean, but they are extremely old, happy that we stayed just one night, to stand more - would be depressive. Staff did not clean the sea weed from the beach. The only good impression - very nice lady at the reseption

Rooms felt rundown, sloppily painted/built Our room had gaping holes in the walls (in the bathroom, behind air conditioner, next to door) because of how it was built, and as we were there during a cooler period, it was just absolutely freezing at night. The AC had no warm function so we slept wearing 3 layers of clothes. I slept so, so badly here every night of our stay. Shower had salt water. They can say what they want about being a natural reserve- that’s just weird and only experienced here. It was impossible to find anyone at the reception if you needed something (like a blanket). The night guard not only speak no English, but was just unfriendly and not helpful. All in all - beach 5 Stars, but the property/rooms: 2 Stars.

If you are looking for a quiet beach vibe this is it!! Absolutely magical. We stayed on the beachfront room and it exceeded our expectations!

Everything was great!

Great staff , very helpful . Rooms were comfortable although the a/c was only on certain hours of the day that was not cool. Overall we enjoyed our stay and spend time on the beach that is in front of the hotel.

None of the staff spoke any English We had rented 3 rooms and prepaid 2 months ahead requesting they be together because of children. They were all far apart. No hot water except one day and then it was scalding, the rest of the time it was freezing saltwater. Very old stained towels shredded on the edges. Towels were gross. One of the rooms did not have any closet or drawer we had to live out of the suitcase the entire time.
