Kambaniru Beach Hotel and Resort

We like the compound, looked new though it’s already 5 years old. The resort was quiet, beautiful, clean and pleasant. The service was good and gave us a free shuttle to airport. We will book again if we are there. 💙

We could not watch channels that required smart TV.

Een mooi modern hotel. Niet echt Indonesisch, het had ook in Spanje kunnen staan. Erg schoon.

lo mejor es el personal, que es sumamente amable y atento. Las habitaciones están impecables y el servicio de transporte es excelente: puntuales y efectivos sin importar la hora.

hay varios puntos que empañaron la experiencia: Bienestar animal: Nos entristeció ver caballos encerrados en espacios muy reducidos. Aunque se nota que los alimentan, se les ve frustrados y sin libertad de movimiento. Es algo que el hotel debería reconsiderar seriamente. Área de piscina: Muy ruidosa. Aceptan personas externas al hotel y había demasiados niños gritando; si buscas relajarte, es casi imposible en ese ambiente. Gastronomía: El desayuno y algunas comidas tiene mucho margen de mejora y los cócteles no nos convencieron (especialmente el mojito de pitahaya). Spa: Quisimos un masaje en pareja y solo tenían un masajista disponible. Cuando consiguieron al segundo al día siguiente, ya se nos habían quitado las ganas. Lavandería: Los precios por pieza son extremadamente elevados. Fue error nuestro no preguntar antes, pero el costo nos pareció exagerado.

In the evening, the pool area offered a wonderful atmosphere. There was an event happening with many guests, creating a lively and joyful vibe. The pool area truly felt alive, becoming the center of energy and social interaction within the resort. I also enjoyed the variety of activities available, such as horse riding and cycling, which added a unique and enjoyable dimension to the stay and allowed guests to connect with the natural surroundings of East Sumba. At night, I experienced the spa at the resort, which was calming and rejuvenating—a perfect way to unwind after an active and vibrant evening. Although my stay was only for one night, it was memorable and satisfying. I had to leave, but I am certain I will return on a future visit. Kambaniru Beach Hotel & Resort is a wonderful place for anyone seeking comfort, lively ambiance, and heartfelt hospitality in East Sumba. Highly recommended.
