The staff member on reception was friendly, and the view out of the window was lovely. The water in the shower was warm.

The king size room had a small, lumpy double bed. The room was up six flights of stairs with no lift. The TV wasn't working properly, with wires hanging down and the WiFi was terrible. The room was freezing, and I needed to have the electric heater on all night, which didn't feel safe. I could hear the guest in the room on the otherwise of the hallway on the phone as if he was in the room with me. The bathroom window didn't lock, meaning it was drafty and even colder in the bathroom. The bedroom door only had the one lock on, meaning it rattled and felt unsafe. I was so desperate to get out of there in the morning that I showered and left as soon as the sun was up and way before breakfast. Looking at other reviews I didn't miss much by not having breakfast. This place does not match the photographs on booking.com, or the rating it has received. I would not recommend and would definitely not stay again.

It was very clean, in an amazing location with an amazing view. The staff were friendly and the communication from them was great!

This hotel is such a wonderful find. Perfect location right on the seafront. Very good price (I think I got lucky as room and breakfast was only £55). Absolutely spotlessly clean. Some lovely restaurant recommendations from the very kind and friendly chap on reception. Shower and bath tub in my single room (number 15) with a selection of little products. I had a nice relaxing bath after a busy day and the shower itself was 5 star hotel standard. Also even though it was a single room that I booked it felt very roomy and the bathroom was a good size too. The owners and people who work there obviously care about the hotel and its guests. Highly recommend.
