Maldron Hotel Manchester City Centre

Breakfast lacked the collection of fruits and the kind which are mostly available in the hotels. It can be made better.

NO TOILETORIES were not provided except the Hand wash and shampoo.

The location of this hotel is good if you want to be close to the university, and it's a 20 min walk into the city centre. The room was comfortable, and had everything we needed.

The breakfast option were limited. Especially if you want to choose healthy options. There was not much choice with fruit, wholemeal bread, or salad options as compared with most four star hotels, and the offering centered on the fried breakfast. The hotel itself felt more basic than I would expect for a four star hotel, corridors felt a little grubby, but the room itself was fine.

Excellent location, staff were very pleasant and check in/out was very quick. Room was very comfortable and spacious.

The room could be doing with some additional cleaning of things like the bedside lamps and the remote control. It was also slightly noisy with the train running outside.

Very good breakfast. Lovely staff, especially receptionist Emmanuel, who had great sense of humour. Quiet.

Dislike minimalist hotel accommodation! It is presumably done by the hotel to save money, but at the expense of providing comfort for the guests. There was nowhere to store belongings apart from 1 drawer and a small wardrobe with no door. ...and only 3 hangers for 2 adults! But almost worse was the bathroom with only half a door to cover the shower, which meant that unless you were first in the shower, the bathroom got soaked. No stool to put your clothes on, so they got soaked, too. This was supposed to be a deluxe accommodation but there was no fridge
