"Stains on Mattress, dirty room and dirty shower"

I recently had a one night stay and was really disappointed with the cleanliness. The mattress was badly stained, and I was so uncomfortable I ended up sleeping on top of the duvet. The pillows were also stained and smelled stale, which is unacceptable for a hotel claiming to be 4‑star. The net curtain had visible stains, and the bottom of the shower screen was grimy, showing the room hadn’t been given a proper deep clean. Overall, the room felt neglected and unhygienic, and we did not enjoy our stay.

"Overall we had a good and comfortable stay."

Breakfast was good and the room was very clean and comfortable.

There was a long queue when we were checking in as the pods were not working. The usual toiletries were missing but as soon as we called room service they were quick to bring it. There was a card for another guest left in our room.
