The cottage was superbly appointed, fitted out very sympathetically with lots of modern touches throughout. Lovely comfortable beds, plenty of hot water for showers, fluffy towels and snuggly bedding. Kitchen very well equipped, all as described. brilliant location - no noise interference with sleep given the city centre location. Genuinely cannot complain - fantastic place to stay. A******

The only downside was getting locked out on day 2 when the battery failed on the front door for the entry keypad. However, one phone call, and this was sorted out very swiftly, maintenance man was wonderful and the whole thing dealt with quickly and professionally. A gesture of goodwill was offered as a result, and it gave me confidence that when there is an issue, its resolved quickly and efficiently. Well done all :)

It is a very quirky place, with great charm. Definitely not suitable for anyone with small children or mobility issues of any kind; the steps are really really steep. There are handrails, but extra grab handles would be good Main bathroom had great shower. Kitchen is well equipped.

A lock box is ok to collect the keys, but we would have felt more secure with an additional internal lock/bolt to use overnight. Some of the paintwork could do with a refresh. Would have been nice to have some chairs in the courtyard.

Very clear communication with the hosts

Schon von außen ist es eine außergewöhnliche Unterkunft. Innen ist der Reiz des Historischen kombiniert mit einer praktischen modernen Küche und Bad. Man kann die Stadt gut erlaufen.

Subjektiv fühlt man sich in der Umgebung des Hauses zur Wachsamkeit gefordert. In Richtung der Kathedrale ist es fast romantisch. Die Treppen sind sehr steil. Die Pfanne funktionierte auf dem Induktionsherd nicht. Es ist hellhörig.
