Comfort Inn JFK Airport

The beds were very comfortable. The A/C worked well. The rooms were very clean. The shower was really nice. Not much noise pollution from outside or other rooms nearby. The location is like 10 min to JFK, which is nice for arrival and departure. There's also a free shuttle, though we didn't use it because we had family in town that got us to and from the airport. The free breakfast is really good, food is served hot and fresh. Staff was always present and friendly to us. There are a lot of tables downstairs which are good for families trying to eat meals together! They have affordable snacks and beverages available, too.

Rooms are small. The hotel is located next to a water pollution control plant, so it smells like sewage outside. The smell is not noticeable inside at all, though. Floors in the dining area are INCREDIBLY sticky, which is offputting. They were sticky the entire duration of our 4 day stay. Parking at this hotel is pretty challenging for larger vehicles. There are limited street parking spots nearby, although some hotels in the area have larger lots.

Comfort inn was very comfortable & clean.

Staff members at the reception - evening and morning. Very rude, not helpful, and quite disrespectful. When I arrived with two small kids and asked about getting some hot water for baby’s milk, the staff at the reception said they don’t provide hot water in the room, but I can use the water from downstairs. When explained why i cannot come multiple times in the night when baby is crying, there was no attempt to think outside of box so they accepted me wanting to cancel the room and get money back. When I then asked if there is a coffee machine in the room which brews, they said yes and later learnt from another member that i can get hot water that way!! Before going to room I asked the receptionists if there is a fridge in the room because i have to leave my medication. They told me that there is no fridge in the room, but they were happy to store it in the staff room. That was fine, however when I got to my room there was a fridge in my room. And in the morning, at the checkout, the receptionist was talking on a phone to a guest who was complaining about the room. The receptionist rolled their eyes multiple times and just told the customer to dispute the matter with the manager and hung up. Then they looked at me and said” girl some people !!” and slowly walked to the staff room to bring my medication – in a way that was signalling that they just can’t be asked to do any work. This was the most shocking customer service I experienced in my life.

Clean and comfortable! Short drive to JFK

Price was too high. Shuttle to airport was too late to accommodate early flight.

A good average hotel, but nothing near a place demanding a $ 380,-, price point! In Europe, something comparable would never cost a cent more than Euros 70/80!!! Very, very basic facilities, where the rather unimaginative breakfast was served in disposable paper plates and plastic forks/knives!! Perfectly okay, I guess, for a sub $ 100,-, hotel, nothing more! The front office staff was the best thing about this hotel!!
