This place was so amazing, worth every penny... Location is perfect, the bed is comfy and the room was just right with the location

The lighting in the bathroom could have been a little brighter but purely for makeup purposes!

Accommodation only so no breakfast. Superb location surrounded by shops, bars and restaurants and not far to York Minster or the Q car park for which you have to pay to park. All in all a great trip.

Entzückendes kleines Hotel, mit vielen verspielten Details sowohl im Zimmer als auch im Treppenhaus. Meine 11jährige Tochter liebte es sehr. Wenn Sie Ihren Kindern wirklich eine Freude machen wollen, dann buchen Sie es! Ja, es ist etwas dunkel, aber so soll es sein und Oropax sind nützlich für Lärmempfindliche, aber das wussten wir und wären sehr gerne noch länger geblieben!

We love everything about this hotel and have been a few times. It really is an experience like no other and worth every single penny.

You could not ask for more in terms of atmosphere and attention to detail at this hotel. The decor, the architecture, all of it is so spooky and fun, for both adults and children. I was travelling with a friend and our two (6 yr old) children, who went mad for the bunk beds in the Libraryum Room :) It's not a quiet place due to creaking doors and the amazing location, but the atmosphere (for me) more than makes up for this. It's not a spacious place, it's called a Tiny Hotel for a reason, but again, you are coming for the vibes. Would not recommend for super little children as there is lots of decor. Super comfy beds, nice little hot drinks selection for in the morning, modern bathrooms. Check in details texted the day before and super easy to get into the hotel. The only thing I would mention is that there is no reception or way to leave your luggage stored pre or post check in. However, we found a phone shop around the corner that stored our bags for the day for around £16, so it work out just fine. Would 100% recommend and would look forward to my next stay. Thank you!
