Princes Street Apartment

This was perfect for our stay - clean, comfortable, great location and in a historic building! Loved the historic photos of the building .

The actual physical facilities were okay. Close to the train station.

The area unfortunately was absolutely dreadful. Not somewhere I would take children, it was full of alcohol abusers and drug addicts. The whole street is rundown and nothing available unless you walk 20-30 minutes to the other side of town. The road was extremely busy from 4.30am (seagulls too, I know that's not to be helped) but it was too hot to close the window and there was no fan available, therefore we hardly slept. The shower was extremely small and could hardly turn around in it without opening the door and flooding everywhere. Also the drain cover kept coming off. Not alot of toilet roll provided. Tiny bottles of shower gel, had to buy more. No milk provided even though there was tea and coffee provided. The iron leaked and had burn marks on it so I couldn't iron my dress which I needed to for a wedding! Got instructions to take the rubbish out to a black bin however, there was no black bin. Lastly we was talking to a local and apparently it is rented out to lady's of the night.

It felt very worn down, the seating was uncomfortable, the entrance was very stark and unwelcoming, there was a lot of chipped paint, the balcony overlooks a graveyard, the shower is minuscule, the mirror in the bathroom is not over the sink

Very spacious apartment. Comfortable bed. Close to main town with restaurants etc.

A car park would have made this perfect, but we know that before booking. Secure. low cost car park 50m away so no problem.

We loved the location, the minimal decor, the laundry facilities, the view from the skylights and the patio. We had everything we needed!

Great location. 2nd visit to these appartments. Accommodation was absolutely spotless. Very comfortable and relaxing. Thank you again and hope to be back in the not to distance future. Kevin & Sheryl Heggie
