Silk Road Hotel

Booked it because it was 2 blocks from the bus station and the entrance to Petra. Very basic and traditional hotel. No very modern but clean. Breakfast is included so you chose from a list of what you want. I arrived early and reception made an exception and found me a cleaned room. Thank God because I was so exhausted and couldn't wait another 4 hours in the heat to check in. Clean room with very quiet AC. Good size room.

Restaurant only served breakfast. Not open for dinner. Few dining options in the area. You have to go downtown for more food which is 20-25 mins walk uphill. Older hotel.

Perfect location near Petra

The bathroom was dirty

The location was perfect, close to the main entrance to Petra and to a variety of restaurants. The breakfast buffet had a wide selection and the food was good. The managers at the reception desk were very pleasant and especially helpful in arranging for transport to Wadi Rum.

There was nothing that we didn't like.

Excellent location, walking distance to Petra, entrance.
