Comfortable and clean. Easy to get to and from Central Manchester by bus or Uber. A decent budget alternative to pricier central hotels.

The front door keypad is fiddly. Fronts onto a main road, so not the quietest location but not too much of a problem.

Spacious and well-located in proximity to city. Well equipped and clean, albeit basic. Appears similar to ex-student housing. Cosmetically ok and very secure.

We stayed in November on one of the coldest weekends and a broken window made one of the bedrooms unusable. A partial refund request was refused even though video evidence of the problem was provided. Communication with management company was also abysmal. Inconsistencies between listing and contract, for example check out time. Even when these inconsistencies were raised the team provided the incorrect information and then tried to backtrack. No signage for the external bins attached to property and lots of rubbish in the front garden. Property could do with some general TLC as both bathroom and kitchen taps had issues.

There's a bus stop outside the property. Takes you into city centre and to Trafford shopping centre. Brilliant

Given we were running the marathon and this accommodation was a mile from the start at Old Trafford, the location was ideal. It was reasonably priced too. The BEVOLVE team were very responsive online and on the phone although didn't actually do what they said they would i.e. arrange for house keeping to pop in to attend to issues mentioned below.

For a property for 8 people, 2 pans in the kitchen was far from adequate and there weren't 8 bowls, a bread knife, a tin opener that worked, a plug in the sink or a tea towel etc. We needed to cook and eat the night before the marathon and hence had to take it in turns which was far from ideal. The extract fan in the main bathroom (without windows) was ridiculously noisy, not great when you need good sleep the night before running 26.2 miles! We had to sign up to an 11 page contract which made us suspicious and feel like we had no chance of getting our deposit back, however, the property wasn't very clean when we arrived. We have received all of our deposit very swiftly thankfully. The property had a small garden but nothing in it so was unusable which seemed a shame. There was only one secure parking space but plenty of parking closeby on the streets. The Agent, BEVOLVE did promise they would send someone out to bring a tea towel, plug and clean up but they never arrived. The property is right on the road and hence quite noisy as the windows weren't great. The owners really need to maintain the property better else they are going to have some big bills e.g. there was a small garden growing in their gutters! (see photo). This obvs didn't cause us any problems but there are already signs that the lack of maintenance is causing damage to the building.
