Grand Summit Hotel General Santos

When asked for a taxi doorman said there were none but did not offer a solution or help. Only when i went to front desk did they order a taxi.

I ask the hiusekeeping lady if she can give me some wash cloth because they don't have any in my room and she said yes, but haven't got any til I check out😑 but other than that it was a good stay..

Facilities are great but the wait staff needs to be trained better. I blame this on management. Meals were brought out in sections with long breaks in-between. Orders would incorrect or things missing on them. The breakfast buffet a worker would see empty coffee vats or milk missing and would have to be asked to be refilled.

Stayed 3 nights , the Gym is not opened ( not noted on website ) . Service is not consistent, reception is efficient and tries hard , however there is construction on the fourth floor and called down and was told in a stern male voice “ you were told at check in about the construction “ completely false we weren’t . The restaurant food is fine , the service not very friendly ( no smiles , how are you? ..forgetful with requests ) …It’s a new property they have some kinks to work out then this hotel will be much better.

It's a really nice and new hotel, but something need to be changed. At arrival the service counter couldn't find my name in the system, even if I booked two days before at hotels.com, where I also paid in advance. There's was no menu card in the room, but the food we ordered, after getting two dirty cards delivered to the room, was really delicious. In the breakfast restaurant it's not smart guests cannot take food from the breakfast table, but need to wait until a waiter is ready to help. Why make it so complicated? I want to look at the food and put it on my plate myself, without talking to a waiter how much I want of each thing!
