Village Period Cottage Next to a Idyllic Stream

Lovely spacious cottage - very comfortable for a weekend stay. Clear instructions on arrival with more inside the cottage. In the middle of the village with places to shop for food and eat out very easy to find.

Couldn’t turn up the heat on the shower although nice and powerful Some chipped/cracked cup and glass - should be checked carefully.

Perfect for a couple of days away. Pub, chip shop and Co-op on your doorstep. The bed was comfortable, good shower and the kitchen was adequate for a few days.

The sofa was a bit uncomfortable but apart from that we had no issues and would happily return.

Village was lovely and people so friendly. Greatly appreciated being able to book just for three nights and that we could bring our dogs with us. Interesting walks straight from the doorstep. Fantastic fish and chips a few doors down!

The location is lovely and the bed was so comfortable.

My husband is 6'5" tall and had to remember we were in a cottage!! We struggled a little with the one settee.

It was a quiet cottage in a good location close to three pubs and a small co-op and good chip shop.

The kitchen is very tired and could do with a refurb, the fridge doesn't have a freezer box and the cutlery feels like a child's play set. The settee is very uncomfortable and could do with a clean, the shower although very powerful has a terrible curtain that wraps around you and although the bed is comfortable its very noisy if you need to get up in the night without disturbing your partner, there was a very nasty stain on the mattress protector that showed through the bottom sheet, not good.

The kitchen was not in great condition, with no washing up/ draining board. There was no storage space for clothes without emptying drawers full of bedding. The "wardrobe" was a disgrace as it was a storage cupboard and contained the central heating boiler. There was only one settee to sit on any guests had to sit on the floor. The wiring for the washing machine was dangerous. The garden had brambles across the path to the parking area. The "pond" was half full of green stagnant water. The bathroom bin had not been emptied. The shower flooded the bathroom as the shower water ran down the side of the bath despite a small dam, made of grout put on it to divert the flow. The corner of the bath had mould in abundance.
