Newell Hill House - 3 Bedroom Holiday Home - Tenby

The location of this property is fantastic for people who want a short 15 minute walk into the heart of Tenby. Plenty of space to park the car also. The size of the main bedroom is great - fitted a cot in the room with ease.

There are some things that could be improved within the house, quite quickly and cheaply at that, but that would significantly improve the experience staying here ie we couldn’t use the washing machine as the drawer was full of mould, the shower head holder was broken meaning we had to duck to wash our hair and be careful of the standing lamp in the living room as it falls over easily… not great for a crawling baby! There is a build up of mould in the main bedroom window. Oh and the bathroom bin pedal is also broken - minor but easily rectified! Overall this place needs a little TLC and it would make for a great stay.

There are very steep steps into the property, not mentioned on the description. You also enter through the back garden. The parking is not actual parking, the space is tiny. The stairs were also very steep, no banister and no mention of this in booking. This property is not suitable for anyone who struggles with steps, or walking or has any breathing difficulties. The property was surface clean - but looking deeper there was dust, cobwebs and windows were dirty. The carpets were all very stained. Dishes were dirty in the kitchen cupboard. The beds were really springy- not comfortable. It advertises a TV - the tv does not have general channels, it’s only programmed for streaming apps - although most of these wouldn’t work or crashed. To which I think the internet wasn’t strong enough. Also the bathroom is downstairs, no upstairs toilet or bathroom. We booked for 3nights but left after two.

Nice place, very clean with all the facilities you'd expect. There's a footpath nearby which goes directly to the beach - about 15 minutes walk. Very quiet at night. Parking was fine, plenty of room for us and the dog.

There was food under sofas plates and cutlery dirty glasses were dirty garden was dirty

Close to town center and sea front .

Tv that was connected to aerial rather than apps . Bathroom upstairs not downstairs. And a proper parking place for a family car.

House was clean and well presented inside. Beds were very comfy and the kitchen had everything needed for 6 adults to have a meal. 10 minutes walk to the beach and a shop just down the road which was very convenient

Only 2 rolls of toilet paper so we had to buy more. The BBQ in the garden was dirty so had to buy a disposable one to use instead. Bathroom got very wet very quickly. Location didn't feel like you were on holiday.

Lovely place in a fantastic location with mostly modern interior and parking out the back. Great small touches - reed diffusers left it smelling lovely. The garden is lovely, although not very private, but we felt very comfortable (furniture really could do with an upgrade though). Parking for my Peugeot 2008 was more difficult although plenty of street parking available. My friends ford fiesta was able to fit in to the provided space. Great location - so close to everything. I looked up the place beforehand on Google maps so knew what to expect but I would suggest if people didn’t they may get confused about where to park/enter as all entry is through the back of the property and garden. I could see from previous reviews that they had taken on board some of the comments already which was lovely. Generally really enjoyed and would stay again!

Place could just do with a bit of a clean - garden really weedy and patio part quite dirty, could have just done with a sweep and jet wash. Bit of mould in the bathroom but nothing major, and the wall in the middle bedroom was quite damaged so needs a refresh. Could have done with a few extras, eg., only half a kitchen roll provided so we ran out quite quickly.
